AGFD Outdoor Expo 2017
We had a good turnout of members to help with our booth this year. It's always nice to get to see friends that isn't always easy to see at other times of the year. Some things that might be worth mentioning is president Ralph Bosse called a meeting to order and George Carr was voted in as the new vice president,  the raffle we had this year that was a nice rifle that was obtained by Brian Blacketer, and the additional furs that David Johnston let us use for the display table, Jim West brought a beautiful Artic  Fox to display and a gentleman donated a tanned elk hide to us and brought it on Sunday and we used it to lay on the table and placed the display furs on it and it really looked nice, Justin Sowden was interviewed by a TV station and I believe it will be aired on one of the Valley stations. And certainly the welcome gift of the grey fox pelts that our new vice president  George Carr donated. Several were sold as dried pelts and the rest will be sent to be tanned by Moyle Mink and Tannery in Idaho. All in all it was a great turn out and many people showed a lot of interest in out upcoming events, especially the November Youth Trappers Camp. Many thanks for everyone's help and now we can look forward to our annual rendezvous.

I'm looking forward to our September Rendezvous. We've been busy lining up speakers and activities for our annual get together. If there any of you folks that would like to contribute your talents, expertise and time please respond. Look for an upcoming flyer announcing our Rendezvous "17" on our Face Book page. I'll have copies ready to distribute in your area for the asking.
